LACQUERED AND STIR-FRIED BEEF FILLET

with snow peas

What do you need?

  • 400 g beef fillet
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 5 cm fresh ginger
  • 300 g sugar snaps
  • 100 ml soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ½ tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 600 g Original Belgian fries
  • 1 tsp paprika

How do you prepare it?

  1. Cut the beef into strips.
  2. Peel and crush the garlic. Grate the ginger until you have 1 tsp.
  3. For the sauce: mix the soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger and chili flakes.
  4. Heat 3 tbsp oil and add the beef and sugar snaps, stir-fry for 1 minute and add the sauce. Stir-fry for a few minutes until everything is lacquered and caramelised.
  5. Deep-fry the fries at 170 °C until golden brown.
  6. Sprinkle with paprika and serve with the beef and sugar snaps. Garnish with sesame seeds.
